Size Guide
You’ll notice some overlap in our size charts. This is because height is just a starting point when determining what size bike will be best suited for an individual. In addition to height, factors such as body proportions, preference, riding style, and terrain can determine what size bike will work best for you. If you’re unable to choose between two sizes, the most surefire way to find out is by test riding both sizes. The following tips may also help guide your decision:
-
x-small4’10” - 5’3”
-
Small5’1” - 5’7”
-
Medium5’5” - 5’11”
-
Large5’10” - 6’3”
-
x-large6’1” - 6’7”
If you’re between sizes consider sizing up if: You’re looking to maximize speed and stability, you typically ride faster, more open terrain, or you have a long torso body type. Remember, a bigger bike not only allows you to get into a lower, more aggressive riding position, it will have a longer wheelbase and chainstays – both helping to keep the bike calmer at speed.
If you’re between sizes consider sizing down if: Maneuverability and playfulness are more important to you than overall speed and stability, if your trails are tighter, slower, or more technical, or you have a shorter torso body type. The shorter reach, wheelbase and chainstays, lower-slung toptube, and slightly lighter weight of a smaller bike will be easier to handle and reward a more creative riding style.
